Bayer Leverkusen booked their place in the DFB-Pokal final with a comfortable victory over Fortuna Düsseldorf in Wednesday’s semi-final.
Goals from Jérémie Frimpong, Amine Adli and two from Florian Wirtz saw Xabi Alonso’s leaders qualify for May’s final in Berlin.
They will meet Kaiserslautern after the Bundesliga 2 side ended third division Saarbrücken’s fairytale run to the last four on Tuesday.
The 4-0 victory confirms Leverkusen’s unbeaten season and keeps them in the race for three pieces of silverware.
