Coach of Bayern Munich Thomas Tuchel has plenty of experience managing teams against Real Madrid, having previously faced the Spanish side while managing Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund.
And the German said Real Madrid have significantly changed the way they play since those fixtures, mainly because of the departure of Karim Benzema.
“We played Real twice with Chelsea, and previously also with PSG and Dortmund,” he said.
“The most notable difference from the last match against Chelsea is that Karim Benzema is gone. He was the focal point at the time.
“They compensated for this with a system change. Many approaches are still similar but the way they play has changed, also thanks to Jude Bellingham. We need to find a good balance.
