Andy Robertson believes Liverpool need to be “perfect” on their run if they are to win the Premier League.
Sunday’s defeat to Crystal Palace leaves Liverpool third in the table, two points behind leaders Manchester City and with an inferior goal difference to second-placed Arsenal, who also have 71 points after their home defeat to Aston Villa.
“We have to be perfect from now on, that’s for sure,” Robertson said on Sunday. “We can’t lose any more points and let’s see what the other two teams (City and Arsenal) do. We have to stay positive. We don’t stop fighting.
“We have to get everyone back in the locker room because there are a lot of people who are down, whether they missed an opportunity, gave the ball away or whatever. We pick up, we go again on Thursday and we give everything that we can.
Liverpool return to action on Thursday with the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final against Atalanta in Bergamo, before facing Fulham on April 21.
