Add one more distinction for Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2024.
The three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback was named to the 2024 Time 100 list of “Most Influential People,” the magazine announced Tuesday. Mahomes will also be featured on one of the covers promoting the roster.
During the 2023 season, Mahomes guided the Chiefs to their second straight championship and third title in five years when Kansas City dominated the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. The quarterback thus won his third Super Bowl MVP award.

“There are so many guys, they’ve been at such a high level for so long. To participate in this conversation, you must do so on an annual basis. You can’t take it for granted that you did it the year before. This is something I’ll talk about when I’m done playing. Then people can make those decisions.
