The first North London derby of the season was played in September and certainly did not disappoint.
Arsenal got off to a good start and took the lead from Cristian Romero when his botched clearance sent Bukayo Saka’s curling effort into the bottom corner.
Fortunately, before half-time he was saved by Son Heung-min who finished brilliantly after excellent work from James Maddison.
Romero was Spurs’ villain again in the second half when Ben White’s point-blank shot hit his outstretched arm. Saka stood up, who made no mistakes from 12 meters.
That lead only lasted a minute, however, as Maddison stole the ball from Jorginho well in the Arsenal half, teed up Son and he did the rest with another excellent finish.
Goals, drama and, after all that, a point each.
