Liverpool defender Conor Bradley may have suffered ligament damage during Sunday’s Premier League defeat to Crystal Palace – but Jurgen Klopp has admitted they will have to wait a few days to find out the diagnosis.
Bradley, 20, limped out of the match just minutes into the second half after injuring his foot, with Trent Alexander-Arnold replacing him for his first Premier League appearance since February 10.
“Conor slightly overstretched his foot,” Klopp explained after the match. “The first moment and what Conor felt didn’t seem great, [but] now I hear a little that it is resolved quite quickly.
“I don’t know. Is the ligament damaged or not? I don’t know, so we’ll have that information tomorrow or Tuesday, but it was very painful for him so it’s not cool.”
Liverpool are next in action as they travel to Italy to face Atalanta in the second leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie, in which they trail 3-0 after Thursday’s defeat at Anfield.
