A draw in last week’s first leg means we arrive in Munich today as evenly matched teams.
The away goals rule is no longer in force, so whoever wins tonight will progress to the semi-final while a draw after 90 minutes will see us head to extra time and possibly a penalty shootout.
The first leg was full of emotions. An excellent finish from Bukayo Saka in the 12th minute put Arsenal on the path to a famous victory, but Bayern used all their experience to fight back.
Former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry drew the Germans level six minutes later before Harry Kane came back to haunt his old rivals with a converted penalty after Leroy Sane was fouled in the box by William Saliba.
Faced with defeat at home, Mikel Arteta turned to Leandro Trossard who won by equalizing in the 76th minute.
And that brings us here.
