Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson has added a high-profile endorsement to her portfolio. Gatorade has signed the two-time WNBA MVP to a multi-year sponsorship deal.
Wilson joins a small but powerful group of women’s basketball stars to strike deals with Gatorade. Caitlin Clark signed with the company while she was at the University of Iowa. University of Connecticut guard Paige Bueckers also has a sponsorship deal with Gatorade.
“We are excited about the addition of A’ja Wilson to our roster of elite athletes ahead of the 2024 WNBA season,” said Jeff Kearney, Gatorade sports marketing manager. “A’ja has already had an exceptional career full of many accomplishments, and we are excited to support her as she furthers her impact in sports and beyond.”
Wilson will be part of its first Gatorade campaign later this spring, the company said.
Wilson, who led the Aces to back-to-back WNBA championships, is one of the most accomplished players in sports. She is a two-time league MVP, two-time Defensive Player of the Year and five-time All-Star. The Aces begin their quest for a three-peat in Las Vegas on Tuesday against the Phoenix Mercury.
