Quarterback Jordan Travis announced on social media Monday that his Florida State career is over following a gruesome left leg injury suffered Saturday against North Alabama.

Travis left Saturday’s game after suffering an injury on a run late in the first quarter. As he crosses midfield, his left leg is bent at an awkward angle. Travis stayed on the field and his teammates held his knee as medics rushed to the quarterback’s aid.
As the fans chanted “Jordan Travis,” Travis was loaded onto a cart and left the field. The paramedics immediately put him in an ambulance and took him to the hospital.
Florida State beat North Alabama 58-13.
Travis finished the season with 2,756 yards, 20 touchdowns and two interceptions while leading the Seminoles to an 11-0 record.
