College football Week 12 odds, schedule: Unbeaten Washington at underdog Oregon State

The 2023 college football season has yet to see much turmoil in terms of teams, but the odds show that Week 12 has a good chance of being the week that changes that. The top five teams have been the same for weeks, but Washington won’t be favored in the marquee game of the week at Oregon State.

As of Monday morning’s odds, Oregon State is favored by one point against the undefeated Huskies. The Beavers enter that game in Corvallis against a top-10 ranking, and Washington hasn’t been all that impressive in recent weeks. Each of Washington’s last six games, including against 3-7 teams at Arizona State and Stanford, has gone within one point in the last five minutes.

Elsewhere, Georgia is favored by two points in SEC East rival Tennessee. Georgia swept the division last weekend against Ole Miss thanks to Missouri’s win over Tennessee. The Bulldogs followed up in prime time by taking down the Rebels in Athens. The Georgia-Alabama SEC title game is already set, but the Bulldogs are still chasing the College Football Playoff. Can Tennessee bounce back from an ugly loss?

As for other top CFP contenders, Michigan is a three-point favorite over Maryland, Ohio State is a four-point favorite over Minnesota, and Florida State is hosting FCS North Alabama. Among the chasing one-loss teams, Louisville is favored by a field goal less than Miami, Oregon is favored by 20 points over Arizona State, Texas is playing against Iowa State and Alabama is an FCS opponent. in Chattanooga.

Six of the top 10 teams in the CFP standings are playing on the road and three are single-digit favorites. Maybe this will be the week that shakes things up.

Iowa’s streak of points and laughs continues as the Hawkeyes host Illinois on Saturday. The Hawkeyes’ 22-0 win over Rutgers last week brought their total up to 30.5 this week. Iowa’s total has opened in the 20s in each of the past two weeks, and the underdogs still hit in both.

Here are odds for games featuring the CFP Top 25 teams and a few other notable games in Week 12. Florida State and Alabama’s odds are posted because they play FCS teams.
