Before halftime of Monday night’s game between the Pistons and Nuggets, Denver coach Michael Malone and Nikola Jokic were in the locker room. Here’s what you need to know:
Malone scored with 1:21 left in the first quarter. Jokic scored with 1:22 left in the second quarter. Both complained to the officials about missed calls at different points in the first half and picked up two technicals. The NBA champion Nuggets shot the second fewest free throw attempts in the NBA. Jokic played 15 minutes and added nine points, four rebounds and five assists.
