
Philadelphia 76ers wing Kelly Oubre Jr. was struck in the chest by a speeding motor vehicle Saturday, Philadelphia police said. Aubrey was treated at a local hospital and is said to be in stable condition at 76.
Oubre was released from the hospital Saturday, a league source said. The 27-year-old suffered broken ribs and injuries to his hip and right leg and is expected to spend a lot of time on the court with the injury, according to league sources.

Oubre is in his first season with Philadelphia, averaging 16.3 points and 5.1 rebounds on 37.8 percent from 3-point range through eight games. After two seasons with the Charlotte Hornets, he signed a one-year deal with the Sixers. For his career, Oubre averaged 12.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game on 43.5 percent shooting from the floor.
The Sixers are 7-1, sitting first in the Eastern Conference.
